Very rare original medal awarded to those that gave service and in some cases their lives to the clean up and containment of the world's worse nuclear disaster in Chernobyl, Ukraine in 1986.

Translated text reads: "The participant of liquidation of consequences of failure" and it has a drop of blood with alpha, beta and gamma radiation symbols in the middle.
